We are excited to announce that it is now possible to sort discussions as well as discussion replies based on 3 options: Newest, Most activity and Most popular.

From your main discussions page or within the discussions section in your rooms, the default sort will be newest to oldest, but you will now have a drop down at the top of the page allowing you to change this so it sorts by activity, which means discussions with the most replies and/or likes will appear first, or so it sorts by popularity, which means discussions with the most likes or upvotes will appear first.

You will now also be able to sort replies to a specific discussion using the same options, with this drop down appearing just below the reply box:

In addition to these sort options, we've added more functionality to differentiate upvotes from likes. This will mean that the default way replies will sort now depends on whether the discussion type uses likes or upvotes. If your discussion type uses likes then the replies will sort newest to oldest by default, however if you've opted for upvotes when creating the discussion type the replies will sort by popularity by default, bringing the most upvoted comment to the top.
