There are three new updates to rooms;

CSV upload

You can now upload groups of existing users into a room with a csv upload. You can find this feature on the room settings page, before you click into any room. Next to the 'create room' button is now an 'upload' option;

When you click this button you will see a pop up option similar to the csv upload for users during registration. The main difference is that for this upload you only need the email address, room name, and whether you want them to be a contributor or member.

Room invitations

The second update is that when you add a user to a room as a contributor or member you can turn off the email invitation. This is useful in cases where you just want people to be listed in the room directory and they don't need to be notified. You will see this option on the 'manage room' page for a chosen room. When you click 'add users' there is a new toggle to turn on/off invitations;

Room digest

The final change to rooms allows you to decide whether you want to opt new member/contributors into the Digest automatically. Previously a newly added member/contributor would automatically be added to the room Digest (if the Digest newsletter is switched on) but now you can turn this on/off as you wish. This option is at the bottom of the page when you edit a room;
