How to get started

The first thing to do in setting up your Zapnito site is to tell us its name and who you’d like to be an administrator.

Zapnito sites are very quick and easy to set up. There’s very little you need to tell us to get your Zapnito site started. Simply give it a name and tell us at least one person who should be a site administrator.

The site name

You can call your site whatever you like. Most Zapnito sites are called something like ‘Brand Subject Community’ or ‘Brand Subject Network’, e.g. ‘Nature Research Microbiology Community’ or ‘The FEBS Network’. (Zapnito customers also have ‘hubs’, ‘forums’ and ‘clubs’!) Or, if your Zapnito site will be your main product site, you may just want to give your brand or product name.

What’s more, you can change your site name at any time so a working title is just fine.

Administrators

You need at least one site administrator who will be responsible for setting up your site. Give us their name and email address and, when your site is set up, we will send them an email invitation to the site so they can register and start getting it ready for launch.
