General user data
Firstly, head to the cog in the top right-hand corner of the page and click Members. If all you'd like is a quick snapshot of how many users you have, take a look at the following tabs on the users table.
All
Every user of all types, confirmed and unconfirmed, that is registered to your site.
Users
All of the people-type users that are confirmed users of your site, i.e. they have completed registration (note that this list includes users who were uploaded via bulk CSV upload).
Organisations
All of the organisation-type users that are confirmed users of your site.
Admins
All of the admin users currently on your site.
Unconfirmed
All of the users that have started but are yet to complete registration. If you would like to prompt any of these users to complete registration, go to the three dots at the end of their table row and click 'Resend confirmation' to resend the invitation email.
Pending Deletion
All of the users that are scheduled to be deleted permanently. This process takes 24 hours to complete.
In-depth user data
If you are looking for more detailed user information, keep reading this guide!
(Note that in order to action this, you will need to be in a group with the 'Download user data' ability.)
Still on the Members page, locate the 'Export members' button at the top of the page. Click it and a message will appear indicating that the user data will be sent to your email address once downloaded.
You will receive a spreadsheet containing a complete overview of the users on your site. If your site has a large number of users the data may take a couple of minutes to arrive in your inbox.
This spreadsheet will contain all your confirmed and unconfirmed users, including a large amount of data on each account. Here is a rundown of some of the less obvious fields included in the export.
User ID
The unique numerical identifier Zapnito assigns to each user.
Public Email
If they have set one, this is the email that the user has added to the contact details section of their profile so others can contact them. This is displayed in the Online Elsewhere section of the profile page.
Profile
This field displays the user's bio, inputted in the About You section of the edit profile page.
Terms
This indicates whether the user has accepted your site T&Cs. If ‘FALSE’ it is almost certainly because the user has been invited to your site but has not continued the registration process
Note that unconfirmed users that have accepted the site T&Cs but not completed the registration process will have ‘TRUE’ in this column.
Active
This will almost always be ‘TRUE’. ‘FALSE’ is only used to indicate users who Zapnito has blocked from registering on Zapnito.
Created At
The date on which the user was first created on any Zapnito site, not necessarily your own. This is because Zapnito user data is held within a centralised database that incorporates all Zapnito customer sites.
