Product Update: Bulk Member Actions within User Groups

Following our initial release of Improved Member Management & Admin Actions, we’re pleased to introduce a further enhancement. From next week, expanded bulk member actions will be available to all customers.

This update is designed to support actions across large user sets (250+ members), removing the need for Community Managers and Admins to manually select users one by one from the Member Settings Page . Bulk actions can now be managed directly within User Group pages, making the process faster and more scalable.

How it works

Admins with permission to Manage Group Users can now apply bulk actions to all users within a selected User Group.

To get started, we recommend creating a temporary User Group specifically for your bulk action. Then:

  1. Upload users in bulk using the CSV template, ensuring they are added to the temporary User Group
  2. Navigate to the User Group and confirm all users have been added correctly
  3. Select Bulk Actions and choose from the following options:
    • Enable
    • Disable
    • Block
    • Cancel Deletion
    • Schedule for Deletion

Once applied, the selected action will update the account status for all users in the group. A confirmation email will be sent to the user who initiated the bulk action.

Important considerations

  • This is a powerful feature, and actions are applied instantly across all users in the group so please ensure you apply the changes to the correct user group
  • The Delete action is scheduled after 24 hours, allowing a window in which it can be reversed
  • Re-enabling accounts will set all users in the group to Enabled, regardless of their previous status (e.g. a mix of Enabled and Blocked users will all revert to Enabled)
