Hi, I’m Wai, Director of Client Operations at Zapnito. I help our customers to power Community-Led Growth by consulting on their community engagement strategy that drives value and ROI. I have +20 years experience helping SaaS and digital media tech business' with their customer led strategies so always open to sharing my insights on how to build and grow a thriving expert community using our tools and proven methodologies. I am the FEBS Events Associate – Advanced Courses, Congress, 3+ at FEBS, supporting the delivery of those events. Previously I was the Communications and Digital Platforms Associate, also at FEBS, and worked on platforms such as the FEBS Network and FEBS website.
Before joining FEBS I managed the grant programmes of a number of UK research charities, mainly in the field of cancer, as well as supported the fundraising at those organisations. I also developed e-learning resources at the Institute of Cancer Research. I have a BSc in Biochemistry and an MSc in Nutrition. After years in London I have now moved back to Spain.
I lead ETI’s strategic focus on business practices.
With a background in manufacturing, working with factories to design and sell product to highstreet fashion retailers, the subject of purchasing practices is close to my heart.
