About MUHAMMAD ANWAR
Dr. Muhammad Anwar is an Associate Professor at the Hainan University, China. He received his PhD in Breeding and Genetics in Horticultural plants from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, China in 2018 and Master degree from Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. He has worked as postdoctoral researcher for more than five years at Shenzhen university, China. His research area is the genetic and metabolic engineering in the genome of plants and microalgae for heterologous protein overexpression system, plant breeding and genetics genetic. He has also focused on role of plant secondary metabolites/terpenoids and molecular mechanisms of their biosynthesis in plants. He also done work on identification, cloning and functional characterization of R2R3-MYB transcriptional factors in in plants.
