Hi, I’m Alex, Customer Support Engineer at Zapnito. I have 5+ years experience helping businesses to power Community-Led Growth by advising and assisting our customers at every step of their Community's journey towards tangible growth and success.

My academic roots are in economics and mathematics and my professional roots are in financial analysis. My background has given me a wealth of experience in research, data interpretation and analysis. I have a close attention to detail, innate curiosity and ‘big picture’ awareness that I use to support the rest of the Zapnito team in truly understanding our customers' businesses. My aim is to ensure that both they and we succeed.
I work in the Content Services division of Springer Nature where I am responsible for a business that provides solutions that build reputation and amplify thought leadership for our corporate partners.
I am the Publishing Director of the Nature Research Journals, which means I have the immense privilege of leading the publishing team for the Nature Journals. I am responsible for the business development of the journals, working closely with editorial, marketing and sales departments. It’s a rewarding and fascinating job working with talented teams across many departments. I have had a varied career at Springer Nature (and prior to that Nature Publishing Group) over the last 18 years working in publishing, project management, editorial and web development roles . Prior to moving into publishing (and some time ago now) I was a postdoc at Cornell University where I used laser spectroscopy and imaging techniques to study the UV photo-dissociation of ozone.
