Penelope Lewis, Ph.D., is Chief Scientist in Strategic Planning & Analysis in the American Chemical Society’s Publication Division, where she advances strategic opportunities in product development and prospective partnerships through landscape analysis and research. Prior to her current role, she spent over a decade in editorial roles at ACS Publications, including serving as Director of Editorial Development, where her team oversaw the strategic development and editorial performance of 50+ peer-reviewed journals and the ACS books program.
I've been working in professional community building for 20yrs+ since founding Econsultancy (a community for marketers learning about digital marketing) back in 1999 and, more recently, Guild, a platform for professional communities and networking.
Mark has 30 years’ experience in scientific, educational and trade publishing, in Asia, Europe and the US. Former CEO of John Wiley & Sons, he led the $120m Atypon purchase. Mark has recently joined Zapnito as a Strategic Advisor and lead Investor in this final seed round.
