Karolina is dedicated to delivering year-round insights and connections to Searchlight members. She is excited to identify and apply the recent learnings to reimagine the institutions, policies, and tools we use across the Life Sciences to address global health needs for all. Prior to joining the Searchlight Networks team, Karolina completed an MSc in Applied Neuroscience and followed this up with a Neuroimaging course. In her free time, she trains boxing and enjoys playing volleyball.
I head up a team of community development managers that identify and deliver group, individual and community level value for our Searchlight members.
I am honoured to serve as the President & CEO of Generate Canada (formerly The Natural Step Canada). We work closely with problem-solvers from business, academia, civil society, and all levels of government to generate solutions to the most complex challenges at the nexus of environment, economy, and society. We do this in partnership with the Smart Prosperity Institute.
Collectively our core competencies are in research, public policy development and fostering deep collaboration on issues related to climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. We do much of this work through our Solution Spaces which currently include the Canada Plastics Pact, the Canadian Alliance for Net-Zero Agri-food (CANZA), Circular Economy Leadership Canada, the Energy Futures Lab, and the Nature Investment Hub.
