I’m Lefteris, a designer, educator and podcaster with over 35 years of experience across design practice and education. I hold an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, London, and have worked internationally as a design educator, academic leader, course leader and external examiner.
I am the founder of The New Art School and Design Education Forum, and the host of Design Education Talks, a podcast bringing together designers, educators and creative leaders to explore the future of design education. My work focuses on building meaningful connections between creative practice, education and industry, particularly across Europe and Asia.
I’m interested in how we can create more humane, imaginative and practice-led approaches to learning. I believe that making is not separate from thinking, and that observation, drawing, craft, experimentation and critical judgement remain essential in an age of AI. My approach combines analogue and digital methods, strong studio culture and the development of each learner’s individual creative voice.
I enjoy connecting with people who care about design, education, creativity and cultural exchange. I’m always open to thoughtful conversations, collaborations, visiting workshops, podcast guests and opportunities to help reshape how the next generation of designers learns and thrives.

Hello 👋 I am a Product Designer, working remotely in bonny Scotland. I have a strong working knowledge of software programs such as Figma and Adobe as well as a love for traditional paper and pen sketching. I like to apply an analytical approach to my work, be bold and ask the awkward questions to get to the route of the problem. I also love working in multi-disciplinary teams, to utilise different skill sets to breakdown complex problems. In my free time, I like to keep active, get some time away from screens and plan my next hike up North with my dog.
