The Digest is a feature that enables users to stay up to date with the content and conversations that matter most to them. It allows them to 'watch' the channels and rooms they are most interested in, and be notified by email about new content and conversations at a frequency of their choosing. You can prompt users to watch channels and rooms during the registration process.

Users can add and remove channels and rooms from their Digest by 'watching' or removing them from the channel and room itself. Notably, users will only be able to watch private rooms if they have been invited to join the room as members or contributors.

Alternatively, users can decide which channels and rooms to watch in their 'Your Digest' page, under 'Account Settings'. Notably, if no content is added to the channels and rooms that users are watching, the Digest email will not be sent.

Lastly, users are always able to view their 'My Digest' page, which they can access by clicking on their avatar image on the top-right corner of any Zapnito site. In this page, users will see a monthly round-up of the content and conversations that matter the most to them.

Key features of the Digest:

  • Sent daily at 07:00 UTC
  • Sent weekly at 07:00 UTC each Monday
  • Sent monthly at 07:00 UTC on the final day of the month
